Parent/Guardian Volunteers must provide three clearances Act 34 - PA State Police Clearance, Act 151 - Child Abuse Clearance, and Act 114 FBI Fingerprint clearance to participate in school activities. "Volunteer" clearances for the Act 34 and Act 151 clearances are acceptable for volunteers. Required clearances must be resubmitted every 36 months. According to District Policy #916, "The building administrator shall assume general authority and responsibility over all volunteers serving at that site." The policy further states that volunteers must adhere to all rules, regulations, and administrative guidelines that District employees adhere to, as well. |
